Dr. Shadnaz Asgari is an Associate Professor with joint appointment in the Computer Engineering and Computer Science department, and Biomedical Engineering department at California State University, Long Beach. Dr. Asgari received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2008. Following her Ph.D., she received a two-year PostDoc training at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and then was hired as a research faculty at UCLA Neurosurgery department to conduct multidisciplinary Brain research. She joined the faculty of CSULB in Fall 2012.
