Areas of Interest The overall research goal in Nia Laboratory is to combine the principles of engineering and physical sciences with molecular biology and oncology to answer key questions in cancer research, discover new vulnerabilities of cancer cells, and propose novel treatment strategies in the fight against cancer. The overall question of our interest is how the abnormal physical microenvironment of tumors affects development, progression and treatment in cancer.
