The phenomenon of tissue regeneration, and the definition of stromal organiser cells which drive spleen tissue development, is the focus of my research.
My investigation addresses the fundamental aspects of spleen organiser cell identity, lineage origin and developmental potential, and utilises murine transplant models to establish the minimal cell requirements for spleen neogenesis.
