In my role as a lecturer in pharmaceutics I intend to further research the themes examined during my PhD and build on this further by taking the research in a direction of my own to further advance in vivo drug absorption modelling. The aim is to benefit the drug development pipeline through an innovative application of novel approaches to permeability assays including genomic and metabolomic approaches not currently exploited while at the same time seeking to enhance and advance the technologies and methodologies used in all of these areas on a day to day basis
