工作经历 1984.07-2003.03，荆州农业科学院（原湖北省荆州地区农业科学研究所）从事棉花遗传育种，2001年晋升正高职称并任该院总农艺师；省劳模、省五四青年奖和省青年科技奖获得者、省青联委员、省党代表。

2003.03-今，中国农业科学院棉花研究所遗传育种研究室副主任、长江育种课题组组长、院长江中下游棉花野外科学观测试验站负责人、棉花生物学国家重点实验室固定人员。中国棉花学会理事。

奖励情况 1.中棉所63等系列强优势杂交棉品种的选育与应用，获2014-2016年全国农牧渔业丰收奖农业技术推广成果奖一等奖
