个人简介

研究领域

面向光通信/光互联/光计算的硅基光子集成前沿及应用研究 Multimode silicon photonics, Silicon-plus photonics, Reconfigurable silicon photonics Silicon photonics for polarization-handling and wavelength-filtering

1. 面向光通信/光互连的硅基纳米光子集成器件 光互联(超短距离光通信)的重大意义在于 用光互联代替电互联,极大地提高了数据通信速度、同时显著降低了功耗,有望解决芯片间和芯片上高速通信瓶颈问题。也正因为如此,光互联正成为一个世人瞩目的新兴领域。它的出现为大规模光子集成研究提供了强大驱动力,为光子集成器件发展创造了新的契机。 其中最具代表性的是备受瞩目的“硅光子学”。硅光子器件以其CMOS工艺兼容性、超高集成度赢得了学界与业界的青睐,其片上集成系统必将成为未来光集成领域的研究重点。本团队围绕“硅基纳米光子器件与集成”开展系列研究,主要包括以下几方面。 (1) Multimode silicon photonics for passive and active devices (2) Reconfigurable silicon photonics for smart optical networks (3) Silicon-plus photonics for high-speed photodetectors and modulators 2. 面向光传感的硅光子器件与集成 光传感广泛应用于工业、农业、医药、生物等行业。采用分立元件的光传感系统成本高、体积大、无法便携式测试,难以满足现代生物医学、环境监测、航空航天等领域需求。本团队着重研究新一代低成本片上集成光传感系统与技术。 (1) Cavity photonics on silicon (2) Mid-IR silicon photonics (3) SiN photonics
