2005年获石河子大学植物保护专业农学学士学位，2008年获西北农林科技大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业农学硕士学位，2011年获西北农林科技大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业农学博士学位。2012年至今在中国农业科学院植物保护研究所玉米害虫组工作。2018年至2019年在加州大学戴维斯分校访学一年。

研究了亚洲玉米螟嗅觉基因的功能及嗅觉识别机制，以及与寄主植物的之间互作关系；明确了Cry1Ac, Cry1Ie以及Cry1Ab等Bt蛋白之间的交互抗性，通过转录及蛋白组学层面阐明了抗性产生的机理。
