1997年获山东农业大学学士学位，2002年获山东农业大学硕士学位。2002年7月至今在中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所工作。2011年获中国农业科学院博士学位。先后于2007年和2011年两次作为访问学者赴美国进行合作研究。2014年11月被中组部和团中央选派参加博士服务团开展援疆工作1年。中国园艺学会常务理事，中国蔬菜协会副会长，《中国蔬菜》主编，国家蔬菜科技与产业创新联盟副秘书长。
