1984年获山东农业大学学士学位，1990年获山东农业大学硕士学位。1997年获南京农业大学博士学位。1984年7月至2009年6月在山东农业大学园艺学院工作。现任中国园艺学会设施园艺分会常务理事、中国农业工程学会设施园艺工程委员会委员、农业部蔬菜专家指导组成员。

长期从事设施蔬菜栽培生理与技术的研究工作。
