2011年毕业于中国科学院微生物研究所，获微生物学博士学位（硕博连读）。2011年至2013年底，在军事医学科学院药学博士后流动站从事真菌天然产物Rasfonin的构效关系及其生物活性研究。2014年至2017年，在美国休斯顿健康科学中心疗法学研究所与Gerald F. Bills和安志强教授合作从事粪生真菌活性天然化合物库的构建和棘白菌素类抗真菌药物的生物合成与代谢调控研究工作。

在真菌天然产物的分离纯化、结构鉴定、活性筛选与评价、结构修饰和生物合成与代谢调控方面具有丰富的工作经验。
