Ms. Simone Yang is a junior English language instructor in the English Language Centre (ELC) at BNU-HKBU United International College. She holds a Master of Education in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai. Since graduation, she has been an IELTS teacher at an education institution in Zhuhai where she focused on oral English teaching. Ms. Yang is interested in the transfer of mother tongue on second language acquisition (SLA), especially the transfer between Cantonese and English.
