Ms. Jessie Xu is a lecturer in the English Language Centre at UIC. She holds a Master of Business from Monash University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Tianjin Normal University, China. She also obtained a TEFL certificate in the United Kingdom. Before joining UIC, Ms. Xu worked as an English lecturer in a project between American Bowling Green States University and Chinese Tianjin Poly-Technic University, teaching English academic writing, as well as speaking and listening courses. Besides teaching, she has had a diverse career in banking and European antique artwork/horological business in Australia and China.
