Mr. Vincent Mcgurran currently teaches classes on English for academic purposes and convenes a content language integrated learning course on English for professional communication. He graduated from the University of Manchester with a bachelor’s degree in business management, and then went on to work in accounting, supply chain and project management while studying CIMA. He has accumulated over a decade of managerial experience, including four years running an English-speaking educational institution. For the last ten years, he has taught English to Chinese students. Having completed a certificate in teaching English to speakers of second languages (TESOL), Mr. Mcgurran is currently undertaking additional qualifications in English for academic purposes (EAP) and pursuing his research interests in this area.
