Mr. José GALLEGO ALBERTOS FERNÁNDEZ MONTES joined the Centre of Foreign Language and Culture at BNU-HKBU United International College (UIC) in China in 2022. He holds a BA in Humanities, History and Arts from Castilla-La Mancha University and Complutense University, Madrid (Spain). During his undergraduate studies he obtained an Erasmus Scholarship to study Humanities at Universitá degli studii di Messina, Sicily (Italy) and joined the International Language and Culture Exchange Program for a year, teaching Spanish as a Second Language. He also holds a M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, several Diplomas as a DELE Official Examiner (Spanish Language Diploma based on the CEFR) a M.A. in Spanish Historical and Cultural Heritage, a M.A. in Museum Studies and Art Collections and a M.A. in Ancient Greek and Roman History (Classical Period). Currently working on his PhD dissertation about Contemporary Literature. Before joining UIC he worked as a Spanish Lecturer in Xinhua College of SUN Yat-Sen University, (Dongguan, Guangdong Province) for 3 years and in Shandong Foreign Languages Technical University (Rizhao, Shandong Province) for a year, developing the Spanish Language and Literature Studies Major. His interests include Teaching & Learning Material Design, Teaching & Learning Languages Methodology, Second Language Acquisition and Foreign Culture Exchange.
