个人简介
Education Ph.D. in Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong (2020) MA in Fine Art (with distinction), Central Saint Martins, UK (2007) BA (Hons) in Fine Art (first class), Coventry University, UK (2003) Dr. Craig Cooper holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University. He is interested in finding common ground between disciplines, and fostering mutual exchange on how interdisciplinary approaches might reframe habitual visions of our subjects. Dr. Cooper has worked as a lecturer at universities in the UK and Hong Kong where he has taught Art Appreciation and Fine Art. His talks and events include: Paper Voices: Artists’ books and Independent Publishing in Greater China (2016) hosted by Asia Art Archive; and The Editorial (2016) co-presented by the Vernacular Institute at Taipei Fine Arts Museum. Through his previous research, Dr. Cooper has used collaboration as a way to encourage different types of exchange and expression. His artistic projects have received support from the Hong Kong Art’s Development Council and engaged communities to produce accessible material relevant to everyday experiences of life.
