王少杰，男，1967年10月生于安徽省肥西县。1995年于中国科学院等离子体物理研究所获理学博士学位。2004年国家杰出青年基金获得者。现任中国科学技术大学近代物理系教授，博士生导师。 主要研究方向：托卡马克聚变等离子体物理理论和数值模拟。
