傅鹏，1962年出生，湖北英山人。研究员，教授，博士生导师。中国科学院等离子体物理所副所长。 1985年毕业于华中科技大学电气工程学院，1997年毕业于中国科学院研究生院，获博士学位。1998年－2000年， 在德国Max-Planck等离子体研究所从事研究工作；2001年在中国科学院等离子体物理研究所工作并晋升为研究员，被聘为中国科学院研究生院教授，博士导师，2007年，被聘为中国科学技术大学教授和博士研究生导师。2005年担任中国科学院等离子体研究所电源及其控制研究室主任，2008年担任研究所副所长。 主要从事电力电子、自动化研究，长期从事聚变装置电源工作，在国内外发表文章40多篇。
