1993年6月毕业于新疆八一农学院植物保护专业、2006年3月于日本冈山大学获农学硕士学位、2009年3月于日本冈山大学获农学博士学位。

昆虫低温科学，研究了昆虫获得耐寒性的机理、日本冈山地区棉铃虫的季节适应性、棉铃虫滞育诱导因素敏感虫态的确定等。
