个人简介
生命科学与健康学院名誉院长，现担任宾夕法尼亚大学佩雷尔曼医学院终身教授、帕克癌症免疫治疗研究所（ParkerInstitute）所长以及细胞免疫治疗中心主任等职位。1979年获得美国贝勒医学院医学博士学位，美国艺术与科学院双院士，CAR-T细胞疗法创始人之一，因开发研究过继免疫疗法用于癌症和HIV感染的潜在用途而闻名世界，被评为“全球生物制药界最有影响力的科学家”。迄今为止，已出版了400多部著作和作品，并获得了诸多世界顶级奖项和荣誉，包括来自美国临床肿瘤学会的Karnofsky奖，以及白血病及淋巴瘤协会的终身成就奖。
