王栋，材料科学与工程学院教授，博士生导师。东华大学材料学学士（2001），东华大学材料学硕士（2004），美国加州大学戴维斯分校纤维与高分子学科博士（2008），美国加州大学戴维斯分校博士后（2009-2010），曾先后就职于美国INVISTA公司、美国Eeonyx公司。目前已发表SCI高水平学术论文46篇，主持项目20余项，发明专利授权21项。曾获得中国青年科技奖、中国纺织青年科技奖、桑麻基金会纺织科技奖二等奖、湖北省科学技术进步奖三等奖、中国纺织工业联合会科学技术进步奖二等奖等科技奖项，并获得教育部新世纪优秀人才、湖北省优秀留学回国人员、湖北省有突出贡献中青年专家、湖北省楚天学子等荣誉称号。现担任中国机械工程学会材料分会第八届委员会委员，Nanoscale、ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces、Journal of power sources等国外期刊审稿人。
