学习经历 1987 年 - 1991 年，就读于武汉大学病毒系，获理学士学位。 1993 年 - 1996 年，在华中农业大学微生物系深造，获理学硕士学位。 1999 年 - 2003 年，于武汉大学病毒系攻读，获理学博士学位。 2005 年 - 2006 年，在美国普渡大学从事博士后研究工作。 主要工作经历与任职情况 1991 年 - 1993 年，在湖北宜昌制药厂担任技术员。 1996 年 - 1998 年，任武汉大学生科院助教。 1999 年 - 2004 年，担任武汉大学生科院讲师。 2005 年 - 至今，担任武汉大学生科院副教授。

主要研究病毒感染细胞引起的内质网应急反应（endoplasmic reticulum stess）及其对于炎症反应的调控，以及这类反应和调控对于病毒复制和病毒性疾病所产生的影响，并由此探讨病毒致病机理及可能的治疗方法。
