科研成果及奖励
参与完成国家自然科学基金2项，教育部博士点基金1项，现主持国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目一项、山东省自然科学基金博士基金项目一项，参与湖南省重点实验室开放课题重点项目1项。湖北省重点实验室开放课题一般项目一项。已在国内外重要的学术期刊和会议上发表（含接收）研究论文20余篇，其中SCI检索源刊论文18篇，EI检索源刊论文4篇。

2018年7月被遴选为硕士生导师，2018年9月开始作为副导师指导2018级统计学硕士研究生2名。2019年开始独立招生硕士研究生，欢迎有对数据挖掘、机器学习、信息论感兴趣并有志于从事相关研究工作的学生报考。

信息论与编码理论，密码学及其应用，统计机器学习，数据挖掘与智能信息处理。
