研究领域
材料加工设备：材料加工设备（铸造和焊接设备）的研究和应用。焊接耗材的开发，焊接设备（逆变电源）的研究，新型焊接工艺的研究。铸造合金材料、工艺的改进研发；铸造设备、铸造生产线的研究改进。电磁感应加热电源、工装和感应器的设计。
材料加工工艺：焊接、铸造过程中传热传质的数值研究。铸造过程中液体金属的流动和传热数值分析，铸造合金成分、组织和性能的研究。电磁感应加热技术与工艺。
软件设计与开发：基于VisualFortran的材料加工工艺软件开发，主要面向焊接、铸造加工过程，涉及材料加工工程、金属材料学、计算传热学、计算流体力学、换热等工程物理领域。
目前主要做电磁感应熔炼、钎焊和热处理方面的工作
