TECHNICAL SKILLS Programming Skills I have a high level of skill in a multitude of programming languages from my previous job at ITS, my freelance work, and working and demonstrating at Deakin University. Noticeable programming accomplishments include the co-development of the HRAS at Deakin University (SQL, PHP), development of an Asset Management System at Deakin University (C#, PHP, HTML, SQL), an iOS App for a AR Parrot Drone (Objective-C), Windows software for freelance clients (C#), and an Android phone game (Java, XML). VB.Net/C#.Net - I have a very firm grasp of working in Visual Basic as this was the primary language used during my employment at ITS, with C# now being my language of choice.

Computer Knowledge I have extensive knowledge of how computers, operating systems, distributed systems, applications, and networks work, in addition to being able to conduct repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

GENERAL SKILLS Teaching (Lecturing and Demonstrating) As Unit Chair, acting Unit Chair, and Campus Coordinator for numerous IT based units for the School of IT at Deakin University, my duties included the conducting of weekly lectures and the demonstrating of classes, organizing course material, meeting with other course stream representatives, setting and marking of assessments, and student consultation.

Communication My lecturing and demonstrating experience has built upon my communication skills considerably, enhancing my ability to listen, speak clearly, and to articulate questions. I have spoken at and conducted presentations at numerous I.T focused public events and conferences during my time at Deakin University, at times to audiences exceeding 100 people.

Travel and Cultures Traveling is my passion, and whilst technically not a ‘skill’, I feel that my travels to China, Thailand, America, Vanuatu, Canada and more, helps cultivate a more grounded, cultured and accepting personality which I feel would benefit any company environment.
