王向军，男，教授，博士生导师，就职于南开大学数学科学学院。1990年博士毕业于南开大学，留学日本，现任南开大学数学科学学院教授。主要从事代数拓扑，同伦论，谱序列等领域的研究工作，在Topology(拓扑学领域顶级杂志)等杂志上发表学术论文20余篇，主持完成多项国家自然科学基金面上项目，多次组织代数拓扑学国际会议，是同伦论及谱序列的专家，在国际上有重要影响。
