陈国祥，男，汉族，1963年2月生，江苏丹阳人，研究生学历，理学博士，南京师范大学校长，教授。

1984年7月毕业于南京师范大学生物学系，获理学学士学位；1984年8月起在南京师范大学工作至今；1990年7月，南京师范大学植物学专业硕士研究生毕业，获理学硕士学位；1998年7月，南京农业大学植物学专业博士研究生毕业，获理学博士学位； 1998年9月至2000年1月任南京师范大学生物系主任助理、副主任，南京师范大学生命科学学院副院长；2000年1月至2007年9月任南京师范大学科技处副处长、处长；2007年9月起任南京师范大学副校长；2013年12月任南京体育学院党委书记；2015年6月任南京体育学院党委书记、院长；2016年6月任南京体育学院党委书记；2017年6月起任南京师范大学校长、党委副书记。

从事高产杂交水稻叶绿体光合作用的细胞生物学研究,重点对农作物（小麦和水稻）功能叶片叶绿体结构和光合功能、光合膜光能转化特性及组分进行了系统的研究与探索
