2002年博士毕业于美国衣阿华州立大学航空宇航工程系，从事高超声速和再入飞行器飞行力学与制导控制理论和技术研究，在美国先后获得波音博士学位论文奖和科研优秀奖，研究成果在NASA马谢尔中心组织的研究竞赛中定量评估第一。2004年回国工作于中国航天科工集团，2009年获得中央统战部、国资委“中央企业优秀留学回国人员”表彰，2014年获得*科技进步特等奖一项。
