1973年出生于辽宁盖州。分别于1997和2002年在吉林大学获得本科及博士学位，指导教师是张希教授。2001-2002年在德国慕尼黑大学（LMU）Hermann E. Gaub教授研究组博士生联合培养。2003-2007年于英国诺丁汉大学从事博士后研究。2007年6月加入吉林大学超分子结构与材料国家重点实验室，任教授、博士生导师。2011年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2015年获得国家杰出青年基金资助，2018年入选国家科技创新领军人才。
