吉林大学车辆工程专业博士，西安交通大学控制科学与工程专业博士后。2004-2008年担任吉林大学汽车仿真与控制国家重点实验室主任助理，2008-2016年担任吉林大学汽车工程学院副院长，2017-2019年担任吉林大学汽车仿真与控制国家重点实验室副主任，2018年至今担任吉林大学汽车工程学院院长，吉林大学汽车仿真与控制国家重点实验室主任，兼任Vehicle Safety and Cyber Security Technical Committee of SAE International共同主席、国家智能网联汽车产业技术创新联盟专家委员会特聘专家、节能与新能源汽车技术路线图战略咨询委员会委员、中国汽车工程学会汽车技术教育分会秘书长、吉林省工业设计协会会长、吉林省汽车工程学会汽车电子分会主任和日本东京大学外国人研究员，并担任《Int. J. of Human Factors Modelling and Simulation》期刊、《Automotive Innovation》期刊、《中国机械工程学报》、《湖南大学学报-自然科学版》和《山东大学学报-工学版》编委。
