1988年至1995年就读于天津大学，分别于1992年和1995年获高分子化工专业学士学位和应用化学专业硕士学位。2000年至2004年就读于中国科学院化学研究所，于2004年获高分子化学与物理专业博士学位。2004年6月至2006年8月在北京有色金属研究总院进行博士后研究工作。2006年8月至今在北京工业大学材料学院任教。

目前的研究方向是先进电子连接材料及聚合物基复合材料，招收材料科学与工程专业硕士研究生。
