刘成斌，男，1977年生，华中科技大学社会学院教授、副院长，博士生导师，中国社会学会常务理事，青年社会学会副理事长，美国密歇根大学（安娜堡）访问学者。主要研究领域是人口社会学、科技社会学、发展社会学等。2011年晋升副教授，2016年晋升教授。2000年毕业于华中师范大学历史文化学院，获历史学学士学位；2003年毕业于华中科技大学社会学系，获法学硕士学位；2009年毕业于南京大学社会学院，获得法学博士学位。2003年7月至2011年6月在浙江师范大学工作，2011年7月至今调动到华中科技大学社会学院工作。先后在《社会学研究》《中国人口科学》《人口研究》、European Journal of Psychotraumatology、Risk Management and Healthcare Policy等刊物发表学术论文50多篇，在人民出版社、社科文献出版社出版学术著作4部。主持国家社科基金课题4项，其中，国家社科基金重大项目1项、重点项目1项，年度项目2项，教育部、科技部等部委项目及地方政府委托项目20多项。先后获得浙江省政府社科优秀成果奖、湖北省政府社科优秀成果奖、中国社会学会十大好书推荐、华中科技大学优秀党员等多项奖励。

主要研究领域是人口社会学、科技社会学、发展社会学等。
