个人简介

Dr. Yayu Gao received her BS degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2009, and the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in 2014, supervised by Prof. Lin Dai. Since 2014, she has been with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where she is currently an associate professor. She is also a supervisor of Dian Group. From Oct. 2017 to Sept. 2018, she visited FuNLab at Univeristy of Washington, Seattle, United States, where she collaborated with Prof. Sumit Roy on heterogeneous networks coexistence. Her current research interests mostly focus on wireless communications, heterogeneous networks coexistence, intelligent transportation systems and AI+. RECENT NEWS 近期消息 Feb. 2021, a full research paper “Throughput Optimization of CSMA with Imperfect Sensing,” first authored by Mr. Chenming Zhou, has been accepted by IEEE ICC 2021. Dec. 2020, a full research paper “Tandem Solar Cells Efficiency Prediction and Optimization via Deep Learning,” first authored by Mr. Chuqiao Yi, has been accepted by Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics. Sept. 2020, WELCOME! Jiangwei Peng and Jie Zhang, and Yuwei Li joined our lab as master students. Sept. 2020, I am teaching Computer Networks Labs 计算机网络实验 this semester. July 2020, WELCOME! Xinyuan Gang, Junjie He and Lang Qian joined our lab as master students. June 2020, CONGRATS! Our paper “SLDNet: A Branched, Spatio-Temporal Convolution Neural Network for Detecting Solid Line Driving Violation in Intelligent Transportation Systems”, presented by Zhanke Zhou, has won the Excellent Oral Presentation Award of IEEE ICTC 2020. May 2020, three papers first authored by undergraduate students in our group have been accepted by IEEE ICTC 2020. Feb. 2020, a full research paper “Achieving Proportional Fairness for LTE-LAA and Wi-Fi Coexistence in Unlicensed Spectrum,” has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Wireless Commun.. Dec. 2019, Prof. Lin Dai with City Univeristy of Hong Kong visited our Lab for academic discussions. Oct. 2019, I won the first prize award in National Teaching Skills Final Contest for Young Teachers in the Area of Electronic Information. (获得全国高等学校电子信息类专业青年教师授课竞赛决赛一等奖) News Sept.-Dec. 2019, Miss Shuangfeng Fang visited City University of Hong Kong, conducting research in wireless communications. May 2019, CONGRATS! Our paper "Achieving 3GPP Fairness for LTE-U and WiFi Coexisting Networks in Unlicensed Spectrum", first authored by Shuangfeng Fang, has won the Best Paper Award 3rd of IEEE ICCE-TW 2019.
