个人简介
华中科技大学电子信息与通信学院副院长,国家绿色通信与网络联合研究中心主任,二级教授,博士生导师,国家高层次人才特殊支持计划科技创新领军人才,中国科协海智计划特聘专家,爱思唯尔高被引学者,华中卓越学者特聘教授,澳大利亚悉尼科技大学兼职教授,华中科技大学—悉尼科技大学移动通信联合研究中心主任。 2003年毕业于华中科技大学获信息与通信工程博士学位, 2005年获意大利伽利略奖(Galilei Grant)。近年来主持承担了20余项国家级科研课题和多项国际高水平科技合作项目,合计发表200余篇SCI学术论文,Google 学术引用逾9300次,多篇代表性论文被评为IEEE通信学会领域最佳论文,研究成果荣获2016年度湖北省自然科学二等奖。目前担任国际信息处理联合会(IFIP)理事会中国代表和联合国咨商信息与通信技术专委会委员, 国家科技部和国家自然基金委会评专家,湖北省科技厅评审专家,IET Fellow,中国通信学会会士,也是IEEE Wireless Communications,IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology等10余份国际顶级期刊编委, 并担任IEEE ICC、IEEE globecom等30多个国际会议的Symposium chair,TPC成员和审稿人。
研究领域
信息热力学首次阐明了信息在热力学中的作用与性质:信息是一种热力学燃料,不可逆的信息操作会带来不可避免的能量耗散。对于能量受限的通信系统, 信息热力学在通信技术中的应用显得格外重要,并为优化通信系统能效提供了全新的思路。原理上,基于信息热力学的通信能效优化可以带来数量级上的能耗降低。
