个人简介
1982年至1986年华中理工大学电厂热能动力专业学习; 1986年至1989年任华中理工大学动力系分团委书记、系党总支委员、学生党支部书记; 1989年至1991年华中理工大学电厂热能动力专业研究生,获工学硕士学位; 2001年华中科技大学热能工程专业获工学博士学位; 1992年至1993年广东电力局沙角C厂筹建技术科工作; 1993年至今华中理工大学煤燃烧国家重点实验室工作; 1997年晋升为副教授; 2001年晋升为教授; 2003年被聘为博士生导师; 2005年4月~10月作为国家公派高级研究学者在加拿大Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering, University of Alberta从事访问研究; 2009年至2017年 任华中科技大学能源与动力学院党委书记; 2017年至2020年 任华中科技大学教务处处长。 2020年2023年9月 华中科技大学本科生院院长。

长期从事煤粉清洁燃烧理论及技术、燃煤火电机组锅炉优化运行、大型火电机组配煤掺烧全流程动态优化控制等方面研究。
