2005年毕业于武汉大学，获物理学学士学位和经济学学士学位；2010年毕业于北京大学，获理学博士学位；美国德州理工大学访问学者。以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文25篇，他引超600次。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、浙江省自然科学基金多项。

包括锂硫电池、锂离子电池、超级电容器等。

目前为国际期刊 Materials客座编辑，特约审稿人。同时为Advanced Science，Journal of Power Sources，Carbon，Journal of Alloys and Compounds A，Journal of Energy Chemistry，Applied Surface Science等国际期刊审稿人。
