1984年 7月毕业于江西大学化学系（本科）；1989年 7月毕业于中山大学化学系（硕士）；1997年 7月毕业于中山大学化学系（博士）；台湾淡江大学（2000，3）与香港科技大学化学系（2002,10）博士后。曾任教于江西冶金学院基础部，赣南师范学院化学系；1997年 7月到华南理工大学工作至今。现任化学化工学院化学系副主任， Molecules 中国地区编辑，广东省化学会无机化学专业委员会委员。
